Goodbye to our Oldest Member: Vera Plain Our oldest member, Vera Plain, who was almost 103 years old, passed away in late January. Vera was fun and witty, and an inspiration to many of us. She was coming to meetings even up through last year! We will miss her dearly. You can access her obituary below. |

We are a group of community-minded gardeners, landscapers, and floral designers dedicated to the friendly study and sharing of horticultural subjects and activities. We meet to discuss topics of interest to hobbyists and professional gardeners. Activities include speakers, plant sales, craft-making, field trips and social gatherings. Each meeting is preceded by a potluck brunch. General meetings are on the second Wednesday of every month September through June. Brunch starts at 9:30am and the general meeting starts at 10:00am, followed by a program. Typically meetings end at noon. The meetings are held in Point Loma at: All Souls' Episcopal Church 1475 Catalina Blvd. San Diego, California 92107
