Succulents and Pumpkins Make and Take Workshop

October 12, 2022

After the PLGC October Meeting at the Hall

What you need to bring:

1. A pumpkin to decorate. (Trader Joe’s usually has a nice selection of the flat and colorful pumpkins. I’ve seen them at Home Depot and Ralphs, too) You want to get one without any holes or cuts or soft spots so it will last for a few months!

2. Sandwich or something to eat and a beverage (If you think you’ll be hungry after the meeting)

3. $15.00 (covers the cost of the decorative materials and plants)

**4. Your own succulent cuttings or fall décor (if you so wish)

What will be provided: Moss, Adhesive, Succulents, Faux Fall décor, Nitrile Gloves (fingers get a little sticky with the adhesive)

Be sure to sign up on the website if you didn’t have a chance to do so at the September meeting. I need an accurate number of those interested so that I can get enough plants and materials.

Questions? Contact Sherry Hebert at 619-346-1154 or sheshehebert@gmail.com

These pumpkins last a long time in our climate. Once the fall holidays are over, you can remove the fall décor and add décor for the December holidays. Then you can remove the décor completely and enjoy your pumpkin for another couple months! Once you are done with it, you can take all of the succulents and plant them in the ground or in a pot!
